prison unlocked was curated and performed by anna and richard in the former dover immigration detention centre at the citadel, thanks to david de min and the techfort group. anna and richard took over the citadel with a photography exhibition, a live performance and dance. the purpose of the exhibition was to transform the space into a place of freedom, performance and art, subverting its original remit as a place of incarceration.
